Report of Findings
On your second visit, after reviewing your health history, goals, spinal and nerve system examination and x-rays from your initial visit, the doctor will give you a complete report. This report forms the basis of his or her chiropractic care recommendations. It is here that the doctor will notify you if your condition requires care with other providers and will answer all of your questions including:
- "What's causing my problem?"
- "Can chiropractic correct my problem?"
- "How long will it take?"
- "What will my chiropractic care cost?"
- "Will my insurance cover my chiropractic care?"
Chiropractic care program
Once we've given you a report of findings, and you've made your decision to move forward with chiropractic care, we'll recommend a program of care designed to get you back to feeling—and functioning great, as soon as possible. The doctor will provide the best chiropractic care recommendations for your needs.
When you leave our office, you return to your life—and most of the stresses that contributed to your problem in the first place.
This is why we recommend home care. This is care you do at home, between visits, to improve your spinal and overall health. Home care may include:
- Spinal corrective exercises
- Gentle cervical (neck) traction
- Spinal hygiene exercises
- Nutritional supplements
- Stress management techniques
- Lifestyle changes
We also promote "simple steps," to improving your health and well being. Simple steps are small, relatively simple incremental changes you can make to your diet, exercise, stress management and many others. Individually, these changes may not amount to much, but when taken together and added up, make BIG improvements in your health, happiness, well being and longevity.
